The service
The VAT Recovery Checker is a free preliminary tool. It verifies a UK VAT registration using HMRC's public VAT number checking service and produces an indication of areas that may be worth reviewing, based solely on the answers you give.
Not advice
Nothing in the checker, the preliminary result or the benchmark information is tax, accounting or legal advice, an HMRC assessment, a refund calculation or confirmation that any VAT is recoverable. Only a qualified specialist reviewing your circumstances and records can determine whether a recovery opportunity exists.
Referrals
By requesting a free review you ask us to pass your enquiry to a selected VAT recovery specialist. We may receive a fee from partners for qualifying referrals. You are never obliged to proceed with any service.
Accuracy
You agree that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorised to enquire on behalf of the business whose VAT number you enter.
Liability
We provide the checker "as is" and are not liable for outcomes arising from decisions made on the basis of a preliminary indication.
